Good Chinese food specially the sole filet delicious good customer service

To me, an authentic Chinese restaurant serves hot tea with the menu. It's a small thing, but shows the establishment's roots are in the right place. This is that kind of place. Server was very friendly. Decor was nice and typical upper end Chinese. Since this is this place has Shanghai in the name, I ordered two types of dumplings from the five or six offerings. Before my main course arrived, a cabbage soup was brought out. Not great. but good and served free. Next out was steamed Szechaun dumplings. They sat in a pool of chili oil surrounded by crowns of broccoli, with a sprinkling of crushed chili on top. Delicious. Next up, pan fried pork dumplings. The eight giant dumplings were fried on one side and also quite tasty. Look forward to my next visit.

Good food & service

Ordered 6 entrees, 4 of them were super salty. Told the waitress. She offered to exchange them. Brought back the exact same salty dishes.

The food is good, but the service sucks!

Wife originally wanted something from Yoshinoya, but saw this place. We quickly got on Google Maps to check it out and a lot of folks have good reviews.Open for takeout. When you enter they have a plastic cover and a lady takes your order. Wife went with the Chow Mein Shanghai Style and she enjoyed it. I decided with the Mushroom Chicken. I enjoyed the dish as well. With both our orders we got a small white rice, hot sauce, soy sauce, napkins, and a pair of forks. We waited for a little under ten minutes. It honestly did not feel like a long wait. Can't wait to come back and try different dishes and upload more photos.

It is excellent place to eat there because every waiter make customers to feel like eating at home. I also love this place because the price of the food are lower compared to other restaurant. (especially at night) Also, the quality of food are excellent because it feel very fresh once I ate it.

Service - 7Food - 8Price - 8Nice, cozy place to get some good food. It's not the best or cheapest Chinese food you'll find, but they have good to-go options and a nice dining area. Service could be better, but it's about what you'd expect from non-American restaurants.

food is good service is horrible you can come in one day pay $30 and the next day pay $60 for the same meals its 2:38pm when I'm leaving this message so lunch special still applies come eat just know this is how they treat there customers

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. My parents may have been going here for at least as long as I've been alive (I'm 23). I would characterize the food, in general, as salty. It's probably not light on calories because, if it were, then it wouldn't taste so good.

After how many years, this is still a great old fashioned style Chinese mandarin food. Shanghai taste. they will make the food the way you need it. for me less salt no sugar. they will do it. good service. prices fair. good amount of food enough for two people.

The food is delicious. The servers are incredibly friendly and attentive.

The meals and service were beyond our expectations. We truly loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. First-rate place to take my family out for dinner.

So delicious, hands down best Chinese food. You get a lot of bang for your dollar. Service is always the best too! My favorites are the Shanghai pork chops and the steamed dumplings.

Simple place and a traditional in nature. No modern drinks likes boba, slush, smoothie. Only soft drinks, bottled water, etc. Not a loud place. No TV. Food is affordable. If you want a simple place to eat at. This is the place.

We met with friends at this restaurant for dinner. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very nice. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we felt very good. The food was just great. We had a great time and we shall definitely come back again. Highly recommended.

Best Kung pao chicken I’ve ever had. Gave us good beansprout soup and tea without being asked. Orange chicken very good and crispy too. Solid prices and huge portions

Let me tell u, the pepper pork chops as re sooooooooooooooooo good with the sauteed green bean beans. mmmmmmmmm yummers. I gave them 4 stars because everyone is super nice with great customer service except for the young chic. She has a bad ask attitude low dropping ship on the table, and had the nerve to ask for a tip. She rude as hell. They need to get her outta there. The older woman always remembers us she stops by all the tables and speaks and remembers face and what u always orders.

Big portion of food and price is decent. The service is fast except the environment! But be alert that the servants may ask you to give at least 10% tips when checked out.

Excellent Chinese food. Best orange chicken (not too sweet or sticky) and wonderful eggplant.

Like I have always noticed you can almost pick any Chinese restaurant in LA area and it will be good. This place has a different taste that is better then expected. Don't go here for the atmosphere just good food.
